Terms and Conditions

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or start a charging session. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate and complete.

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Use charging equipment only with compatible vehicles and follow on-site safety instructions and staff directions.
• Do not tamper with, damage or misuse any equipment or software.
• Do not engage in fraudulent, abusive or illegal conduct.
• Move your vehicle from the bay when charging is finished, so other drivers can charge.

Our chargers have native CCS2 connectors. On-site staff can provide adapters for GB/T, CCS1 and Tesla (NACS) connectors, which covers most EVs on UAE roads. We do not currently support CHAdeMO. Adapter use is subject to staff confirmation for your specific vehicle, and charging power with an adapter may be lower than the charger rating. Never force a connector or use your own unapproved adapter. If you have topped up your wallet and we cannot charge your car, we refund the balance (see the Cancellation & Refund Policy).

You need a VoltUp account to start and pay for charging in the app. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account, including RFID cards linked to it. Tell us immediately if you notice unauthorised use.

• The public tariff is AED 1.20 per kWh before VAT (AED 1.26 per kWh including 5% VAT). VoltUp charges no connection fees and no idle fees. The tariff that applies is shown in the app before you start a session.
• Payments are made through the payment methods in the app, processed by our licensed payment providers, Network International and Magnati. All payments are in UAE dirhams (AED), using the card types shown in the app at checkout.
• By starting a session or making a transaction, you authorise VoltUp to charge your selected payment method or wallet for the energy delivered.
• Fleet and business accounts may be invoiced under a separate written agreement. VoltUp offers no paid subscriptions or memberships.

Refunds, cancellations and wallet credits are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Our station is listed as open 24/7, but chargers, bays or facilities may be unavailable because of maintenance, faults, queues, upgrades or events beyond our control. We do not offer reservations and do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a free bay, or a specific charging speed. Actual charging power depends on your vehicle, battery level, temperature and site conditions.

voltup.ae and VoltUp will NOT deal with or provide any services or products to any of the OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctioned countries, in accordance with the law of the UAE.

Information on the website is provided for general guidance. We aim to keep it accurate, but station details, prices and equipment may change. The app and on-site information take priority.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoltUp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages; damage caused by improper use of equipment; or losses arising from third-party payment providers.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VoltUp and its personnel from claims, damages, liabilities and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services or your account for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud or misuse.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai, UAE have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page and take effect when posted.
