Privacy Policy

• Account and contact information: name, email address, phone number and account login details you provide when you create a VoltUp account or contact us.
• Payment information: the details needed to complete a payment. Card payments are processed by our licensed payment providers, Network International and Magnati. VoltUp does not store full card numbers.
• Charging and usage information: station used, session start and end time, energy delivered (kWh), amount charged, wallet balance and top-ups, vehicle details you provide, and RFID cards linked to your account.
• Location information: if you allow it in the app, your device location, used to show nearby stations and directions. You can turn this off in your phone settings.
• CCTV footage: our station is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day. Cameras may record you and your vehicle while you are on site.
• Device and website information: IP address, device model, operating system, app and network diagnostics, and, if you accept analytics cookies, how you use our website.
• Communications: messages, enquiries, complaints and feedback you send us by WhatsApp, phone, SMS or email.

The website itself has no enquiry or newsletter forms. If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive the details you choose to send.

• Provide, operate and improve the Services.
• Process payments, wallet top-ups and refunds, and verify transactions.
• Send service messages: receipts, session updates, security alerts and policy changes.
• Provide support and respond to your requests.
• Manage fleet and business accounts, invoicing and usage reports.
• Keep our station, staff and customers safe, and investigate incidents, damage or misuse (including with CCTV).
• Understand how our website is used, if you accept analytics cookies.
• Send marketing messages, as described below.
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations and enforce our Terms.

Marketing. We may send you news and offers by email and SMS where you have agreed to receive them or where the law allows. You can opt out at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any email, reply STOP to an SMS, or contact us. Opting out does not stop service messages such as receipts.

All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Our payment providers, Network International and Magnati, to complete transactions and refunds.
• Service providers that host, run or support the app, website, analytics, messaging and support channels, under confidentiality obligations.
• Fleet or business account holders, for charging sessions made under their account.
• Police or other authorities, where required by law, including CCTV footage.
• A buyer or successor, if VoltUp's business is reorganised, merged or sold.
• Partners, where you have given consent.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Services, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. CCTV recordings are kept for a limited period and then overwritten, unless they are needed for an investigation or by the authorities.

Depending on applicable law, including UAE data protection law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can also ask us to delete your VoltUp account by emailing support@voltup.ae; any unused wallet balance can be refunded first. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

Your data is primarily processed in the United Arab Emirates. If a service provider processes data outside the UAE, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

Our Services are not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
