Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 1st September 2025

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by VOLTUP ELECTRICAL VEHICLES CHARGING STATIONS MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONS L.L.C (“VOLTUP,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including our charging stations, mobile applications, and related services (the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.

2. Use of Services

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Use charging equipment only with compatible vehicles and follow on-site safety instructions.
• Do not tamper with, damage, or misuse any equipment or software.
• Do not engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal conduct.

3. Accounts

You may need to register an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Payments and Fees

• Fees, tariffs, and applicable taxes are displayed in the app prior to starting a charging session.
• Payments must be made using the approved payment methods integrated into the app.
• By initiating a session or transaction, you authorize VOLTUP to charge your selected payment method for all applicable amounts.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds may be provided only in the following cases:

• No electricity delivered during a session despite successful payment.
• Duplicate charges resulting from system error.

How to request: Submit your request within 7 days of the transaction date to support@voltup.ae with your account email, session ID, date/time, and amount. Each request is reviewed individually. Prepaid wallet balances are non‑refundable unless required by law.

6. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable access to our charging network, but availability may be affected by maintenance, upgrades, outages, or events beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VOLTUP is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; damage caused by improper use of equipment; or losses arising from third‑party payment providers.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VOLTUP and its personnel from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services or your account for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or misuse.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai, UAE shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted here and are effective upon posting.
